[ The very first second Joaquin Phoenix reminded me about Hugh Jackman's Logan / Wolverine, but soon I have corrected myself... it was not him. Instead, in 1970, drug-fueled Los Angeles the detective Larry "Doc" Sportello (Joaquin Phoenix) investigates the disappearance of a former girlfriend. “Inherent Vice,” is the seventh feature from Paul Thomas Anderson and the first ever film adaption of a Thomas Pynchon novel... and we'll have to wait until next year (9 January 2015 in USA) for this movie to hit the screen[...]
