If I would consider the Romanian newspapers the Reader's Digest publishing house is only a victim of world crisis: the American publishing house of Reader's Digest magazines announced that they will declare bankruptcy in the attempt to slip up to 75% of their debts. If I would consider my own experience with them, http://www.supravirtual.ro/news/Reader_s_Digest_or_offers_during_rush_hours, I would say that the bad promotion of their products had a bigger effect than the crisis. If I would consider what I read on the internet here, the promotion led to more then losing some possible clients.
Our Romanians have a proverb: “What you do it yourself, with your own hands, it's called manual work”. It's applied to this case.
