How close are we to another pandemic?

We are, at least in theory, pretty close. The best thing is that nature doesn't create so fast viruses or other pathogens that can kill us all, but humans can develop those new viruses, bacteria and fungi that can either destroy the human race either they control us for their benefits. Climate change doesn't help us. Watch The last of us series after this video and you may understand better the situation.

Living alongside polar bears in the Canadian Arctic - BBC World Service

Lovely. A friend challenges each of us to take a polar bear as pet, at least one for each. I don't know if he is joking or not, the polar bears are pretty dangerous, but I love the BBC video enough to think about a pet. This pet need a big big cage and a lot of food, but at least I am thinking about.

While I continue to dream about that pet, the scientists in Churchill, Manitoba, race to understand how to protect polar bears that are threatened by climate change, the town works to keep increasingly hungry bears away from its population. Mda. Mi-a scăpat evenimentul de pe Facebook, asta în cazul în care organizatorii au făcut unul, și a trebuit să aflu de evenimentul ăsta de pe unul dintre blogurile pe care le urmăresc. Plus că prietenul ăsta al meu mai pomenște despre două evenimente ce vor avea loc în curînd, gen mîine și la sfîrșitul lunii, așa că blogul lui e bine de urmărit măcar ocazional atunci cînd pomenește de evenimentele orădene.

Momentan e bine de știut că în 4 aprilie 2025 în sala de evenimente de la Era Shopping Park (lîngă magazinul Numero UNO) va avea loc ediția de primăvară a unui tîrg al locurilor de muncă între orele 10 și 18. Poate mă duc, poate fac pauză, poate mă duc ca angajator sau ca viitor angajat în funcție de cum merg treburile în orașul ăsta amărît - am timp să mă gîndesc la detaliile astea mai bine de o lună. Vii și tu?

După vreo 4 luni de la izbucnirea scandalului Nordis după un reportaj Recorder procurorii au făcut percheziții și deschideri în România și prin Europa.
